2024 apprenticeship tax for ESEO
To support the development of ESEO and pay your apprenticeship tax, go to the SOLTéA platform from 27 May 2024.
What is the apprenticeship tax?
This is a tax calculated on the total wage bill (0.68%) payable by all French companies with at least one employee: the ‘main part’ (0.59%) finances apprenticeships through Apprentice Training Centres (CFAs), while the ‘balance of the apprenticeship tax’ (0.09%) supports school partnerships to develop non-apprenticeship training.
How can you support ESEO in 2024?
April
As an employer, you declare your 2023 payroll to URSSAF on your Déclaration Sociale Nominative -DSN.
Before 5 May (> 50 employees) or 15 May (50 employees<)
Your ‘balance of the Taxe Apprentissage’ is collected by URSSAF and then transferred to the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC).
From 27 May to 23 August
First allocation period: on the new SOLTéA platform of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation (CDC), you indicate your allocation choices in %. Once you are connected to the SOLTéA platform as an employer, you can access our ESEO-accredited establishments directly:

1st payment by the CDC to the schools, of the funds distributed if they are 100% finalised by the companies.

Second period of the distribution campaign on the SOLTéA platform.
From 19 November
2nd payment by the CDC to the schools, of the funds distributed to the establishments by the employers.
From 27 November
Payment of funds not distributed by regulation.
