The 4 pillars
The ESEO educational project is based on 4 pillars:
- A strong set of values
- A human education
- Promoting commitment
- Open-mindedness
A school with a humanist vocation
A place of learning, research and dialogue, ESEO is an engineering school with a humanist vocation. Since it was founded by Canon Jeanneteau in 1956, its students have been living, sharing and perpetuating ESEO’s commitments.
Developing useful innovation
ESEO trains the engineers of tomorrow and the players in the digital transformation. As such, it aims to be a forum for fruitful debate, enabling you to take up the new technological challenges. But innovation only makes sense if it is well thought-out and respects people. Throughout your studies, ESEO will stimulate your capacity for judgement and encourage you to act in accordance with your convictions.
Committing to society
and the planet
ESEO encourages its students to put their skills to work on social and environmental issues. The aim: to train committed engineers!
To achieve this, ESEO shares and promotes its values in order to develop the human skills of its students. These “soft-skills” are particularly sought after by companies, and will enable future ESEO engineers to stand out in their professional and personal lives.
ESEO values: developing potential
ESEO enables you to develop all your talents and qualities. Critical thinking, interpersonal skills and a spirit of initiative are cultivated so that you can express your personality, discover your ambitions and let your potential blossom through the OSER values:
- Openness
- Solidarity
- Commitment
- Respect
Encouraging commitment
With its human dimension, ESEO prepares you to become autonomous, to assume your commitments and to mobilise energies, while remaining open to the world and its changes. These values will enable you to act responsibly in your future professional life and in society in general.
