The Junior-Enterprise, based on the Angers campus, is a student association that is part of the international Junior-Enterprise movement. It proposes projects in ESEO's areas of expertise, such as electronics, IT and digital technology
Throughout the year, ESEO offers its engineering and bachelor students numerous opportunities to familiarise themselves with the business world: internships (12 months in total) in companies, pro contracts, company games, exchanges with the 350 external lecturers during courses, but also for personal and professional projects, forums, ESEO Meetings, the Artificial Intelligence Platform, the possibility of joining the SEIO Junior Enterprise, etc.
These opportunities are a reminder of the close links that ESEO is developing with its network of 1,400 partner companies and its commitment to supporting its future engineers in the professional market.
As future decision-makers, engineering students are regularly put into project management and entrepreneurial situations, and learn how to build a project from idea to completion.
Challenges, competitions and business creation games punctuate the training: the Grande Aventure d’Entreprendre and its project market (CCI49), the Entrepreneuriales, the Entrepreneurship marathon, the “1 day 1 entrepreneur 1 student” day (1JEE), the Crédit Agricole initiative prize, the AgTech data challenge, etc.
Students with business start-up projects can also apply for the National Student Entrepreneur Status (SNEE) and benefit from a number of advantages.
For those who want to launch their own start-up in digital technology, electronics and intelligent systems, the ESEO Start incubator is dedicated to them. Student entrepreneurs and start-ups benefit from the school’s exceptional resources and support.
Among these advantages, you will find a co-working space, a creative space, a mechatronics workshop, labs and support from ESEO lecturers and students. In 2020-2021, 8 start-ups will be supported at the ESEO Angers.
