Events on the ESEO Dijon campus
03/10/24 – STARTER LAB
Organised by the Developers Group Dijon association, ESEO is hosting its first Starter Lab on the Dijon campus on the theme of LLMs. During this workshop, you will be guided step-by-step through the creation of a Chatbot. On the programme: Interaction with an LLM model – Prompt engineering – Model specialisation with RAG and fine-tuning.
15 to 17/11/24 – HACKATHON RESPONSE HACK2HORIZON
Hackathon organised as part of the H2020 RESPONSE project led by Dijon Métropole.
For 48 hours, multi-disciplinary groups of 8 to 10 students will develop a prototype of an innovative solution to a challenge proposed by a partner company in relation to the issues of a resilient, low-carbon city. A team of coaches will be on hand throughout the weekend to support them and help them overcome any obstacles (technical, organisational, pitch preparation, etc.).
At the end of the weekend, the teams will present their results to a panel of judges, who will select the winners. The company that proposed the challenge will recover all the developments made and is entirely free to reuse and exploit them.

02 to 04/12/24 – YOUR JOB TOMORROW FORUM
This forum is one of the highlights of the Festival of Ecological and Digital Transition in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. A series of workshops will help you understand the challenges of the energy transition and find out about the different professions by meeting professionals.

29/11/24 – HEALTH ENGINEER’S DAY
Organised on the ESEO campus this year by a consortium with the support of Dijon Métropole, Grand Besançon Métropole and the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, the aim of this day is to bring together students and future professionals to discover each other’s specialities and professions, the projects developed and share feedback, in the presence of industrialists and professionals.
13/12/24 – DATAKIDS
An innovative event designed to introduce children aged 10 to 16 to the concepts of health through the use of digital data, and to introduce them to the professions.

13 and 14/02/25 – THE WAY OF THE TALENTS
Organized by CREATIV and NUMEUM, this event will make guidance for young people and jobseekers an experience full of optimism and discovery. A presentation of the jobs in the digital sector through what they promise.
15/02/25 – “CITIZENS AND THE CURIOUS” DAYS
Dijon métropole is organising the2nd edition of its “Citizens & the Curious” days, with a series of 10 visits starting on Saturday 21 September 2024. Every third Saturday of the month, the local authority invites everyone to discover or rediscover a structuring facility or an emblematic site in the metropolitan area. 12 and 13/10/2024 – SCIENCE VILLAGE
Two days of fun discovery of science! ESEO will be on hand, along with other activities organised by research laboratories and organisations, scientific culture associations and higher education establishments.
18 to 19/03/25 – REGIONAL WORLDSKILLS in DIJON
For the first time this year, ESEO Dijon will be presenting students in the Industry 4.0 category.
