The LERIA, a research unit of the University of Angers, carries out fundamental and applied research in two related areas of computer science: artificial intelligence and combinatorial optimisation.
The ESEO’s ERIS team (Equipe de Recherche en Informatique et Systèmes) and the LERIA have been working together for several years in the field of artificial intelligence as part of their scientific activities (co-supervision of doctoral and post-doctoral students, participation in the MathSTIC federative research structure at the University of Angers, etc.)
An agreement has just been signed to formalise this collaboration by granting the status of LERIA associate researcher to 3 members of the ERIS team: Olivier CAMP, Fabien CHHEL and Daniel SCHANG.
This agreement will strengthen the links between the researchers and further facilitate future collaborations by defining a generic framework for future joint research activities.
