Privacy policy

Privacy and security are in ESEO’s DNA and we ensure that our technical and organisational measures in place respect your data protection rights. This Privacy Policy describes our rules regarding the management, processing and storage of personal data submitted as part of our services, in accordance with the guidelines of the GDPR. The term ” personal data ” refers to information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Consent

By registering for our training courses or by filling in the various contact forms on one of our sites(www.www.eseo.fr and admission.www.eseo.fr ) you agree and accept that ESEO may collect, process, store and/or use the personal data submitted in accordance with the rules set out below.

By giving us your consent, you also retain the right to rectify, the right to be forgotten and/or the right to have your personal data deleted.

Personal data collected

Identity and contact details of the data controller

Personal data is collected on our site by AETS ESEO, an association under the law of 1901 recognised as being of public utility, registered with the RCS of Angers under number 786 116 715 and whose registered office is at 10 Boulevard Jean Jeanneteau 49107 Angers Cedex 2.

CNIL declaration

The automatic processing of information has been declared to the CNIL under numbers 1135217 & 1135220 (PROSPECTS ONLY)

You retain the right to lodge a complaint with this supervisory authority regarding a breach of data protection.

Data collected on the site

When you use one of our websites, we collect and process personal data about you, such as your first name when you create an account.

We will also ask you to provide us with your email address so that we can use this information to create an account and send you information and notification emails.

When you use our services, the following data is collected and processed: connection data and browsing data. Some data is collected automatically as a result of your actions on the site (see the paragraph on cookies below).

When you register on the candidatures.www.eseo.fr website, you register by creating an account.

Purposes of processing and legal basis

The main purpose of collecting your personal data is to provide you with the most relevant information. To this end, you agree that we may use your personal data to:

  • resolve any problems in order to improve the use of our site and our services;
  • personalise, evaluate and improve our services, content and documentation;
  • analyse the volume and history of your use of our services;
  • inform you about our services;

Recipients of your data

The personal data concerning you collected on the site is intended for ESEO’s own use and may be passed on to subcontracting companies that ESEO may call upon in order to provide its services. ESEO ensures compliance with data protection requirements for all its subcontracting companies.

ESEO does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

In addition, ESEO does not disclose your personal data to third parties, except where (1) disclosure is required to process transactions (i.e., for verification purposes in connection with online payment processing with credit card companies); (2) ESEO is compelled to do so by a governmental authority or regulatory body, in the case of a court order, subpoena or similar governmental or judicial requirement, or to establish or defend a legal claim; or (3) the third party is acting as an agent or subcontractor of ESEO in performing the services (for example, ESEO uses the services of a telecommunications company).

Your data protection rights

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (RGPD), you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data, which you can exercise by sending us a request via our contact page: https: //www.www.eseo.fr/contacts. Your requests will be processed within 30 days. We may ask that your request be accompanied by a photocopy of proof of identity or authority.

You can also change your personal details yourself at any time by logging into your account and accessing the desired application.

Cookies/Tracking

As a general rule, ESEO uses cookies and tracking in order to improve and personalise the site and/or measure its audience. Cookies are files stored on your computer’s hard drive when you browse the Internet, particularly the website. A cookie is not used to collect personal data without your knowledge but to record information relating to your browsing on the site which may be read directly by ESEO during your subsequent visits and requests on the site.

If you choose to refuse all cookies, your browsing may be reduced to access certain pages of the site. The cookies used by ESEO are intended to enable or facilitate communication, to enable the provision of services requested by users, to recognise users on a subsequent visit, to secure payments that users may make, to record the language spoken by users or other preferences necessary for the provision of the requested service.

ESEO also uses analysis and tracking tools to measure data on websites and digital data to obtain an overview of customers, carry out analyses of the browsing experience in order to improve content and send targeted advertising.

By default, cookies are not automatically installed (with the exception of cookies necessary for the operation of the ESEO site and services, the installation of which is indicated by a banner). In accordance with the applicable regulations, ESEO will require your authorisation before installing any other type of cookie on your hard disk. In order to avoid any inconvenience caused by these systematic requests for authorisation and to enjoy uninterrupted browsing, you can configure your computer to accept ESEO cookies or we can memorise your refusal or acceptance of certain cookies. By default, browsers accept all cookies.

Data retention

ESEO collects your personal data for the purposes of fulfilling its contractual obligations as well as information about how and how often you use our services and we store this data in active databases, log files or other types of files for as long as you use our services.

ESEO will only store your data for as long as is necessary for the provision of the service. You will be able to access your personal data as long as your account remains active. After a period of inactivity, ESEO reserves the right to delete your account. Your data will then be deleted.

Data storage and transfer

The hosting servers on which ESEO processes and stores the databases are located :

  • on ESEO’s own servers on the one hand
  • oVH servers.

ESEO undertakes to store its data in France and not to transfer it outside the European Union.

ESEO undertakes to inform you immediately, insofar as we are legally authorised to do so, in the event of a request from an administrative or judicial authority relating to your data.

Security

As part of its services, ESEO attaches the utmost importance to the security and integrity of the personal data of its learners and prospects.

Thus, and in accordance with the RGPD, ESEO undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the data and in particular to protect them against any accidental or illicit destruction, accidental loss, alteration, distribution or unauthorised access, as well as against any other form of illicit processing or communication to unauthorised persons.

To this end, ESEO implements industry standard security measures to protect personal data from unauthorised disclosure. By using industry-recommended encryption methods, ESEO takes the necessary steps to protect payment and credit card information.

In addition, in order to prevent unauthorised access and to ensure the accuracy and proper use of data, ESEO has put in place appropriate electronic, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard and preserve the data collected through its services.

Even so, no one can consider themselves completely safe from a hacker attack. This is why, in the event of a security breach affecting you, ESEO undertakes to inform you as soon as possible and to make its best efforts to take all possible measures to neutralise the intrusion and minimise its impact. In the event that you suffer damage as a result of the exploitation of a security vulnerability by a third party, ESEO undertakes to provide you with all necessary assistance so that you can assert your rights.

You should bear in mind that any user, customer or hacker who discovers a security vulnerability and exploits it may be subject to criminal sanctions and that ESEO will take all measures, including filing a complaint and/or taking legal action, to protect the data and rights of its users and itself and to limit the impact as far as possible.

Changes to the privacy policy

ESEO reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time, including in response to changes in applicable laws and regulations. We recommend that you check this policy from time to time to keep informed of our procedures and policies regarding your personal information.
