What is the Puissance Alpha Admissions rebond competition?
The Puissance Alpha Admissions rebond competition is the new competition offered by the concours commun. A unique procedure, which will see its first candidates at the beginning of 2023.
It replaces two former competitive entrance exams, which bowed out in 2022: the Puissance Alpha bac 1 competitive entrance exam and the Puissance Alpha rentrée décalée competitive entrance exam. This means that candidates who wish to do so can take both exams to maximise their chances of admission, paying the registration fee only once.
The Admissions rebond competitive entrance exam offers admission to ESEO over 3 possible deadlines:
- A staggered start to the first year, in February 2023.
- A traditional start to the first year, in September 2023.
- A direct entry to the second year, subject to validation of a 1st year in scientific studies.
ESEO offers entry to the 5-year engineering school programme from the post-bac level. Thanks to the “concours rebond” competitive entrance exam, you can enter after a first semester without losing a year, after a validated first year in science or in the3rd year after validation of certain diplomas.
