ESEO Pro, the new training centre for digital professions

ESEO, Grande École d’Ingénieurs, is creating ESEO Pro, a training centre bringing together 4 Bachelors degrees and vocational training. Designed to break away from the school’s traditional courses, ESEO Pro aims to meet the technical skills needs of companies in the fast-expanding digital sector. They are aimed at a broad range of students with no pre-requisites in science or IT, and offer predominantly practical teaching in close contact with professionals, thanks to the supervisory staff and the sandwich course offered from the 2nd year onwards. ESEO Pro courses will be available from the start of the 2025 – 2026 academic year, on the ESEO Angers campus.

ESEO Pro: Training digital experts in 3 years

Born out of a desire to break away from traditional engineering courses, ESEO Pro offers 4 Bachelors degrees preparing students for careers in the digital sector and its new challenges: Web3 & Blockchain, Computing & Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Computing and Full-Stack Development. Available via Parcoursup and accessible post-bac, the ESEO courses have been designed for profiles wishing to acquire the essential prerequisites for the sector.

They are also designed to meet the growing skills needs of companies in these professions, which require the recruitment of qualified professionals in the very short term. Apprenticeships are available from the second year, accounting for more than 70% of their training time, giving students an opportunity to immerse themselves quickly in the professional world.

A skills-based approach: the winning solution for meeting the needs of professionals in the sector

As an alternative to traditional courses, ESEO Pro opts for a skills-based assessment: students are judged on their ability to solve real-life problems and apply their knowledge pragmatically, rather than on their performance in theoretical exams. Each subject is assessed by a project and each semester includes a structuring project, representing 35% of the total time.

Consulting sessions with experts reinforce this approach. Students receive personalised feedback to help them continually improve their skills. Supported by modern teaching methods, such as project-based learning, flipped classroom and blended learning, ESEO Pro ensures optimum preparation for employment.

More than 75% of the courses offered by ESEO Pro are devoted to real-life work situations and projects, enabling students to rapidly confront the challenges of the business world.

Bachelors at the cutting edge of digital innovation

ESEO Pro offers four innovative Bachelors enabling students to acquire in-depth technical skills and earn a level 6 RNCP qualification as an ‘Applications Developer Designer’ (Bac+3).

● The Bachelor Web3 & Blockchain prepares students to excel in emerging fields such as decentralised finance and distributed systems. This programme responds to the strong demand for skills in the adoption of these technologies by businesses.

● The Bachelor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence offers a complete mastery of intelligent systems. With a variety of career opportunities ranging from the development of AI applications to the ethics of artificial intelligence, this course is designed to be in line with current technological challenges.

● The Bachelor in Sustainable Computing, an eco-responsible course, guides students towards careers aligning technological innovation and sustainable development, such as sustainable digital strategy consultant or energy efficiency analyst.

● The Full-Stack Developer Bachelor, meanwhile, trains experts capable of managing all aspects of application development, from front-end architecture to back-end.

At the end of these training courses, graduates will be eligible for professions such as Web3 developer, AI application developer, data center energy efficiency analyst, software architect, technical project manager, blockchain technology consultant or even responsible digital strategy consultant. They will also be able to continue their learning within ESEO Pro on the Masters cycle (Bac+5).
