Student clubs
There are over 30 student clubs covering a wide range of subjects. There’s plenty of opportunity to develop your passion and find new ones! Community projects are opportunities for students to develop their skills and acquire know-how and interpersonal skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
A place for everyone
There’s a place for everyone, and you’ll be able to draw on a wealth of skills and experience: imagining, creating, launching projects, opening up to the environment and to others, leading teams and meetings, networking, communicating, finding sponsors, managing budgets, bouncing back from the unexpected, etc.
The Student Office
The Bureau des Elèves (BDE) is a student association made up of students from all classes. The campaign takes place in January, before students leave for their work placements. This association promotes student life at the school by managing the various clubs. It provides assistance to any student wishing to set up a project.
The heart of student life!
The BDE is made up of students from all ESEO courses. It brings together all the school’s clubs and organises community life throughout the year. The BDE organises the events that punctuate the life of the school and is a key forum for exchanges and information between members, students, permanent staff and partners.

Welcome seminar
Every year in September, new students are welcomed at the welcome seminar. Visits to the city and team-building activities enable the new intake to learn about the school and forge links with its alumni.
Engineering Weekend (WEI)
The Engineers’ Weekend (WEI) welcomes new students to ESEO.
Official christening of the class
The official naming of the graduating class each year is an important moment in the life of the school, during which the graduating class officially receives its name.
The Robotics Cup
The Robotics Cup takes place every year, with the best teams competing against each other. ESEO regularly stands out!
ESEO Perspectives Forum
Since 1998, the ESEO Perspectives Forum, organised by the students, has provided an opportunity to find work placements and to exchange ideas between future interns and future employees.
ESEO Gala
The ESEO Gala is an evening organised by the students, which takes place at the end of the graduation ceremony, during ‘Electron Day’. This day brings together students, alumni, professors and administrative staff to celebrate the new graduates.
Future BDE campaign
The campaign for the future BDE takes place in January, before students leave for their work placements. This is an opportunity for the various lists to compete for votes with original ideas and events.
The BlueMoon
The BlueMoon is one of the biggest student parties in France and a must-attend event every year. The event is renowned for attracting top international DJs!
An example of an event organised by ESEO students, the BlueMoon in Angers attracts several thousand participants every year. It’s an event that calls on the technical skills of future engineers, as well as their ability to organise and manage a project and a budget over the medium term.
Student commitment

Because an ESEO student is first and foremost an active citizen, ESEO encourages commitment within the school, but also in the service of the city or the nation.
