ESEO financing
Tuition fees can be paid in 1, 2 or 10 instalments at no extra cost. If you pay for one year in one instalment, you will receive a €100 discount. If you pay for two years in one instalment, you will receive a €500 discount.
Work-linked training
Work-linked training is the best way to finance your studies. As well as having their tuition fees paid by the host company, students benefit from paid work experience. At ESEO, engineering students can choose between 2 sandwich courses:
- the apprenticeship engineering cycle;
- a professional contract in the 3rd year of the engineering cycle.
35% of ESEO’s engineering students follow a sandwich course.

Crous grants (students with grants)
Around 25% of ESEO students receive grants from Crous. This student grant can be awarded to any ESEO student on the basis of income, distance, family and study conditions.
Applications for grants are made to the Centre Local des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires (CLOUS) in your area at the beginning of the year for the following academic year. Entitlement to grants is determined on the basis of the family’s income and expenses.
BAC merit-based aid
Merit-based aid is a top-up grant for students receiving a grant based on social criteria. The SESAME scheme is also available: all students who do not receive a grant based on social criteria, but whose reference tax income is not subject to income tax, can now benefit from merit and mobility grants.
Contact your Crous to find out if you are eligible.
University Solidarity Fund (scholarship holders)
The Fonds de Solidarité Universitaire (FSU) provides financial assistance to help students in exceptional circumstances. Applications must be made to the Crous student social services department.
Travel grants
Travel grants are intended to cover part of the cost of transport and living on site and are awarded under certain conditions to students who are doing a work placement or training period abroad.
ESEO offers its students grants from the Region, Ofaj (for Germany), the European Commission (Erasmus and Leonardo grants, amounts vary depending on the country) and other institutions with which the school has agreements. For those who have not obtained travel grants, ESEO offers scholarships every year.
Honor loans
Honorary loans can be granted by the Rectorats. They are intended for French students who are not students or self-employed. Some students may be given priority depending on the region. You must apply directly to the Rectorat.

Financing through negotiated bank loans
Negotiated bank loans give ESEO engineering students the opportunity to finance 100% of their study costs, at very preferential rates. The principle is as follows
1) borrow the amount of tuition fees required
2) start repaying once you have graduated as an ESEO engineer.
